The city’s streets around the temple provide a glimpse of Edo-period architecture and local eateries specializing in unagi (grilled eel), a regional specialty. Springtime brings cherry blossoms along the Naritasan Park paths, while autumn is marked by colorful maple leaves and cooler temperatures.
